This information was given by Uttar Pradesh Minister for Cottage, Small and Medium Industries Siddharth Nath Singh after a virtual conference with the representatives of these organizations recently.


He said last week's meeting was attended by representatives of well-known organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Adobe, Honeywell, Boston Scientific, Cisco Systems, UPS and FedEx. They have shown interest in various sectors in India including agriculture, electronics, medicine, science equipment, defense, aircraft services, food processing.


Among them, MasterCard has expressed interest in making digital payment services in grocery stores, UPS and FedEx airport logistics services, Boston Scientific Medical Equipment, the Indian minister said.


Siddharth Nath Singh said many companies are looking for new destinations outside China, of which India is one. We have informed them that there are at least 9 million small traders and skilled manpower in this state. The situation in Uttar Pradesh is much more stable than other states in India, infrastructurally advanced, with adequate supply of water and electricity. If necessary, the government will allocate their land and provide special facilities in the capital.
