Pakistan is Making Their Own Ventilator

Pakistan's science and technology minister says his country has begun production of ventilators. As the deadly coronavirus infection continues to grow, Pakistan has started making ventilators using indigenous technology.

Another 83 people died of corona in the country on Saturday. In a tweet, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chowdhury said the first ventilator they made would be handed over to the country's National Disaster Management Agency very soon.

At present, 1,503 ventilators are being used in various government hospitals in the country to treat patients suffering from Covid-19.

However, various hospitals in the big cities have complained that they are being forced to return patients due to lack of ventilators.

According to the World Health Organization, Pakistan has been on the list of countries with the fastest spread of coronavirus in recent times.

The first corona outbreak was reported in China last December. Then on February 26, the first case of coronavirus was identified in Pakistan. Pakistan is currently one of the top 15 countries for coronary heart disease.

On Sunday, 4,072 people were newly infected in the country. So far, the total number of infected people in the country is 220K and 4,118 people have died.
