Pfizer claims that their vaccine is 95% effective

Pfizer's coronavirus (Covid 19) vaccine has been claimed to be up to 95 percent effective. The US drugmaker made the claim on Wednesday. Pfizer claims that the vaccine did not cause any significant side effects.

With this announcement, Pfizer took the lead among the coronary vaccines in the final stages of testing. Pfizer says their vaccine is 94 percent effective in the elderly, the most vulnerable group to the coronavirus.

Bioentech, a German company, is working with Pfizer, a US multinational pharmaceutical company, to develop the vaccine. Bioentech says it plans to apply to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency approval of the vaccine in a few days.

Pfizer chief executive Albert Borla said in a statement that the new results were an important milestone in their eight-month journey in the vaccine development process. They are in the process of developing a vaccine that will be effective in preventing the terrible corona epidemic.

This Pfizer vaccine needs to be applied in two doses to a human body. If the FDA approves the vaccine, the company could supply up to 50 million doses by the end of this year. By the end of next year, the supply of vaccines could increase to 1.3 billion doses.

However, only about half of the vaccines produced this year will be supplied to the United States.

Pfizer said on November 9 that their vaccines were up to 90 percent effective. Was then informed. The vaccine should be transported and stored at a temperature of minus 60 degrees Celsius. Pfizer's biggest challenge after getting FDA approval will be how they transport the vaccine from one place to another. Pfizer has already formulated a design, the New York Times reported today. According to the design, 1 thousand to 5 thousand doses of vaccine will be kept in a special box attached to dry ice. These boxes will be connected to the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. These boxes can be stored in traditional refrigerators for up to 5 days. Vaccines can be kept in this box for maximum 15 days for storage in special refrigerators. However, in order to save more, the box cannot be opened more than twice a day in addition to re-applying dry ice.

Moderna Inc., another multinational pharmaceutical company in the United States, said on Monday that their vaccines were 94.5 percent effective in preventing corona. Modern News hopes their vaccines can be stored in the refrigerator at temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees Celsius for up to 30 days, Reuters reported. It can be stored at minus 20 degrees Celsius for 6 months.
